A redesign starting from what already worked. For an independent film sales company, the focus was on refining the existing site with a refreshed interface, clearer structure, improved accessibility, a cleaner layout, and a fully responsive experience.
The navigation was refined with clearer menu items, updated colors, and an expandable search. These changes improve visibility, reduce visual noise, and make it easier to access content without interrupting the browsing experience.
A new filtering system was introduced on the film index page to make browsing and searching more efficient. Filters allow users to quickly narrow down films by key criteria, improving discoverability and enabling faster, more intuitive access to the catalogue.
The film page was redesigned to improve clarity, navigation, and overall reading flow. Content is now more clearly structured, with a stronger hierarchy between synopsis, credits, festivals, and awards. Larger images are better visualized and a sticky title and right column guide navigation while scrolling, keeping key information always visible. The layout was simplified to enhance accessibility, readability, and responsiveness across devices.
